Service Description

Tailored one-to-one reflective professional support, guided by the Decision-Making Framework, to strengthen professional judgement, build confidence and help professionals make sound, person-centred and defensible safeguarding decisions.


Cancellation Policy

Decision Support Sessions Policy Confidentiality: All discussions are treated as confidential unless there is a legal or professional obligation to disclose information. Clients must ensure that any case discussions are appropriately anonymised. Personal identifiers, including names, addresses, dates of birth or other information that could identify an individual, must not be shared during the session. Professional Responsibility: Decision Support Sessions are intended to support professional reflection and decision-making.Responsibility for safeguarding decisions, organisational actions and statutory duties remains with the individual and their employing organisation. Recommendations provided during sessions should be considered alongside organisational policies, professional standards and relevant legislation. The service does not provide: * Legal advice * Clinical supervision * Representation in safeguarding enquiries * Independent safeguarding investigations * Emergency safeguarding advice * Crisis intervention Where appropriate, clients will be advised to seek speciato seek specialist legal, clinical or organisational support. Booking and Payment Payment is required at the time of booking unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received. Cancellations and Rescheduling Appointments may be rescheduled without charge where at least 48 hours' notice is provided. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable. If Safeguarding Adults Support needs to rearrange a session, an alternative appointment will be offered as soon as possible. Late Arrival Sessions will finish at the scheduled time. If you join late, the session will continue for the remaining booked time unless alternative arrangements have been agreed. Technology Requirements Sessions are delivered online using the agreed platform. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable internet connection and a private environment that maintains confidentiality.
